Hey there,
New to MMM, wanted to know more about the syntax but I am finding it difficult to locate any basic information online,
Specifically I wanted to know more about the numbers at the beginning of each line of script:
I know the 2nd and 3rd numbers are the X and Y coordinates, are these necessary, can I omit them if I only want a keystroke to be executed?
The 4th number is a timing function that can be limited to "0", will this effect typing if I were to be tabbing thorough a web page or is it more to allow time for programs to respond to the input?
The 1st number I'm still confused, initially it looked like a step number, but when using the move functions with in MMM the numbers appear to not matter what order they are in they will play out in the order they are in the script, also I noticed several threads where the examples showed multiples of the same number used in a row, what is this number for?
Thanks for your help!

Hi Everett, There is a lot of useful information on the conditions page. I know some things like the numbers at the start of the line isn't covered but if you also have a scan through this forum then you can uncover some answers you might be seeking. But for reference the numbers at the start of each line to not play a major part in the running of the macro unless you are using the GOTO MACRO LINE up or down conditions. and you can omit the X & Y coordinates by have X in its place. 1 | X | X | 1000 | Keypress Edit_Me another way to do keystroke without mouse movement is to use a condition called KEYPRESS 2 | RUN ACTION | KEYPRESS | Hello Everett www.turnssoft.com/conditions.htmlCheers, Zeak

Thanks,
I know it might seem dumb, but this level of understanding is the only way I know how to write and code or script to account for all variables.
