i have a macro to complete a boring series of mouse clicks (i suppose every one is). i fine tuned it down to the millisecond, and the series contain about 40 steps with timing ranging from 30ms to 500ms per click with release set at 1ms. After invoking the macros 10-20 times in a row fusing a hot key mapped in the quicklaunch section the timings start to go wrong and things slow down considerably. can this be fixed ?

Hi MrClicker,
Welcome to the forums I would suggest changing the mouse click to just "Click" instead of Click Down, Click Release where it isn't necessary to click drag. That way you can remove the line for click release, This should make the macro run better over the long run. Also I have noticed that if you have your mouse clicks to quickly (<100ms) that the system can sometimes get bogged down particularly when doing a lot of clicks in succession, I would suggest increasing your minium click time to no less then 100ms.

is there a way to make the system do it automatically? the macros are created by CTRL+3 to record so clickdown and release are created automatically. can i change the way the system records the macros so instead of down/release it just creates click unless i drag ?

Mr Clicker,
Do you have Event log enabled? If you do I would recommend disabling it unless bug checking as this can also slow down your macro.

Do disable 'Click Down/Release' go to Options - Record Options - Disable drag and drop
