Hi.
I just bought MMM Pro yesterday, but Windows said it was a risky program.
I'm not very sure if this was supposed to happen, I tried to look for it at the forum, but the search wasn't much help.
Thanks in advance.

Hi tylerciggy Windows flags any uncommon unsigned downloadable executable's as 'risky programs'. It's window's way of ensuring that the person running it is aware that it's not a Windows well known file. I've got a write up at this link on the Mini Mouse Macro FAQ page about the ' SmartScreen filter' if you want to take a look at it. I've looked into Code Signing MMM Pro in the past and haven't got around to purchasing a code signing certificate yet. It's a little expensive but it will probably help stop these SmartScreen warnings from Windows. Mini Mouse Macro is safe and fine to run on your machine. Here is the latest Virus Total detection if your keen to check it out. If it were bad and a virus or malware things like this forum wouldn't exist and we've been going for years now here. Any questions on this one please send them through. Cheers, Steve.

I'm confident in your program. I just wanted to know if this was "normal".
I've seen lots of news of business that got ransomware and I just wanted to confirm this was due to the certificate being too expensive as I already thought.

Well, I don't want to create any heat but I found different results about the hash. My free (old 8.0.0.0) version of MMM when I uploaded to VirusTotal recognizes it as: virussign.com_e1e98a458b998230d96bfe6aa227d530.vir strange name, although I don't really know how virustotal works about names. ------- The MMM Pro is recognized as MiniMouseMacro.exe (even that I renamed it to MMM.exe) The hash of my MMM Pro doesn't coincide with yours (although yours is probably the Free version, because of the size)

Yes the hash I have is for the free version. The sha256 for the latest pro (8.2) is 0894174d4c47b9ab6d829907c3dce9e79ce9c138b213cb673c7005c5d4de9d52.
