So, I'm relatively new to MMM, and I have to say I'm already a big fan. I do a lot of repetitive motion at work, and I've learned how to increment x/y positions so all I have to do is set it and forget it, generally. Today, I've decided to create a new macro that copies a name as well as the initial of the last name. However, it does not seem to be working as intended. Here is the code.
1 | 47 | 195 | 1061 | Left Click 2 | 47 | 195 | 1171 | Keypress Ctrl+ | c 3 | 66 | 228 | 531 | Left Click 4 | 66 | 228 | 317 | Keypress Ctrl+ | v 5 | 416 | 191 | 1172 | Left Click 6 | 414 | 193 | 932 | Keypress home 7 | 414 | 193 | 703 | Keypress Shift+ | RIGHT 8 | 414 | 193 | 844 | Keypress Ctrl+ | c 9 | 110 | 224 | 1265 | Left Click 10 | 110 | 224 | 1153 | Keypress right 11 | 110 | 224 | 506 | Keypress space 12 | 110 | 224 | 1375 | Keypress Ctrl+ | v 13 | 26 | 50 | 3185 | Left Click
This is from creating the macro (excepting that I removed the Left Click Down/Release lines and just replaced with Left click). It will click in the appropriate fields, and it pasted, but did not seem to "copy". I have verified that Ctrl+ c copies, but it seems to completely bypass that, and I'm not sure what is going on. Am I missing something?

Hello,
Sometimes I have this kind of issues and they go away by delaying the action after the ctrl-c. This happens to me mostly on cloud-based applications, or in Microsoft office (but then typically 300 ms is enough).
You could check that the %CLIPBOARD% variable really contains what you want by looking at its content in the variable sub-window. Microsoft does some funny things to what should look like a simple text as it embeds it into lots of junk that don't translate well through MMM. To work around this, I first paste the content into a notepad then recopy it to be sure it is properly formatted.
Best of lucks!
