I think there is no function capable of doing what you want to do ,,,,, but you can always solve manualy with this:
If you want to change the dimensions of a window, you can always position yourself in one of the corners, LEFT CLICK DOWN, move to the position you want and then LEFT CLICK RELEASE, like this:
**************
1 | 100 | 50 | 500 | Left Click Down
2 | 100 | 500 | 200 | Left Click Release
**************
And to change the position of the window you have to positioned on the head of the window and apply the same principle ..... Hopefully and with this you have solved your problem.

Hi mattmc If you can do it manually with your mouse and keyboard then Mini Mouse Macro (MMM) can replay that back. If you can't do it manually then MMM might be able to do it with condition based logic ( www.turnssoft.com/conditions.html). A demo on how to do basic macro recording (it's an older version on MMM but the steps are the same): Basic conditions: Some community demo's: www.turnssoft.com/mmmyoutube.htmlIf you can't find what you are after, this forum has a lot of code and usage examples. The 'search' function works pretty well here. If you need further help try and detail exactly what you are trying to achieve. The more detail the better Hope this helps!

One way to move a window to a known position is to hold the “windows” key and use the arrows to make it either half left or half right for example.

If you have access and knowledge of PowerShell, It is possible to program it with that and using MMM to input the size and position.

Hello Everyone, Thanks for all the input. I am not sure if this is a great approach, but in the meantime I found a program called "WindowManger" www.desksoft.com/WindowManager.htm that allows you to save the position and size of a windows and allows you to recall them with a hotkey or command line argument. Cheers Matt
