Hello,
Normaly the settings are saves to the registry. You can view them in the options dialog in tab "Loaded Settings" There are radio buttons which default to "Active Settings" There is also "Registry output" and "ini output". When you save settings from the tab "Options" with the save-button a ini is saved to the exe-path. That is shown in tab "Loaded settings" and the radio option "ini output".
Te use of the ini file is optional. That makes it to the portable version.
Hope that helps.

Thank you very much Hans-Peter!
I don't have permission to access the registry folder or do any kind of install on my "office" pc so I run the executable mmm directly from the desktop. I was hoping to create a macro that could reassign the shortcuts because depending on which software I work in, some keys are already assigned and can't be used for shortcuts anymore. For example, almost anything with "ALT" in office will open the menus instead, F1 would start the "help", etc. IrfanView uses F12, Acrobat Reader uses F9, etc.
Thanks!

Hello,
You can consider to create different ini files in your exe folder. Then create a bat for each wanted version. In the bat copy your named ini on the standard ini name and start the exe.
Or we ask Steve if he could add a commandline switch to choose different ini files on Startup!

Thanks. I don't see a .ini on my desktop (this is where I run mmm from) but with your instructions I found how to do it, works for me. Thanks a lot!!!
