I've been using MMM for gathering data from websites and pasting them into Excel or Word, and it works excellently for that purpose. I prefer to use keyboard shortcuts rather than mouse captures, because they're more reliable, more precise, and easier to troubleshoot. So to switch to Chrome, I use Windows+3; to switch to Excel, I use Windows+7, etc. I have each of my programs pinned in a specific order on my taskbar to facilitate this.
MMM actually supports this functionality, but you have to manually change it every time. If you press Control + S to save, it shows up as:
4 | 29 | 68 | 1319 | Keypress Ctrl+ | s
But if you press Windows+7, it shows up as:
1 | 29 | 65 | 1712 | Keypress lwin
2 | 29 | 65 | 27 | Keypress 7
3 | 29 | 65 | 112 | Keypress lwin
So you have to manually change it each time to:
1 | 29 | 65 | 1712 | Keypress lwin + | 7
And it works perfectly from there, but it's tedious to have to change that every time I switch windows, especially for long macros. I wound up creating a macro in Notepad++ to do this, but it would be nice if MMM recognized it from the start as a valid combination.
Thanks for all your work on this excellent little program!

First off, Welcome to the forum Sslean64.
Yes this would be nice if it recognized it from the start as a valid combination, Would select window by name work for your task?
