I'd like to run a program from the Window Key + R, rather than clicking the start menu as I use the program on different network computers with different locations of the software.
But the windows key seem to not record? I tried editing like the Ctrl+
Works. 1 | 458 | 111 | 2416 | Keypress Ctrl+ | r
But when I try to record the same with the widows key I get: 2 | 458 | 111 | 2464 | Keypress lwin 3 | 458 | 111 | 292 | Keypress r 4 | 458 | 111 | 76 | Keypress lwin Which doesn't work.
If I try editing it like the control 2 | 458 | 111 | 2464 | Keypress lwin+ | r It doesn't do anything either
But even if I just try to record the single click of the lwin key it will do bring up the start menu as it does with my keyboard.
appreciate your thoughts. tks

I found I could open the Start menu with the Ctrl+ | escape
it records the keystrokes but when I play back it does not do anything either.

Hi Kellyllek,
I'm not sure why it would not be working for you as lwin+|r seems to work for me, are you working in remote terminals?
you could try without the l, so just what I have below.
1 | X | X | 1000 | Keypress win+ | r

I did go back to Ctrol + Escape and that worked; giving me the ability to totally open and sign into my software with no mouse clicks. This would allow me to use the same macro on any machine on the network. However, it works sometimes and then totally fails at other times! I'm not sure why...
Maybe a separate issue all my hotkey programs started running way too fast. I restarted the system and it cleared
