pixel color and load macro whilst running infinite loop

I seem to have a problem ensuring that a macro can be loaded.

I want to load another macro file if a pixel color if same colour condition is unfortunately met, and exit again using pixel color if condition. Ideally it should go back to the first macro file and never have to load the 'emergency' macro file again and run infinite loops so long as the pixel color if-same condition in the first macro file is not met.

Problems:

The load macro file doesn't seem to work.

Choosing the add macro file adds unnecessary lines if they are being un-used for most loops.

How are you calling to load in the other file? and does this other file work normally once it is loaded outside of the pixel condition?

This is a test mmacro, just a simple one line file to see if the load macro command if condition works.

If I click on the calculator toolbar tab to bring it to screen with that pixel color, nothing happens and the infinite loops keeps running.

The line looks good. What does your MMM Event Log say?

It doesn't work, but if I manually stop the macro it will begin infinite loop of the second macro of '1+1='

I must also be doing something else wrong as running this particular macro results in very high cpu usage.

I think I found the problem. Your looping the one macro. You're never going to be able to load in another macro on a loop with the 'loop' checkbox ticked.
You have to loop a different way. Perhaps using goto instead.

Something like this:

I've run multiple tests. I got it to work once, loads calculator.mmmacro, then loads back to pixel color.mmmacro



but it seems that in practically all cases, the event log says the condition matches but it never successfully loads the calculator.mmmacro file. How to fix it?

Hi thanks for your help.

I believe the issue stemmed from the transparency of the calculator app.

I was able to successfully finish the test with intended outcome by using a white colored notepad and typing something and then returning back to pixel color.mmmacro


Do you have any tips to ensure that the macro always successfully 'catches' the if-condition for pixel color before moving down to the next line?

Ahh okay the transparency. You are right, best to set it to a firm color then.

A good tip to wait for the pixel detection before moving to the next line is to use the 'CONTINUE action (www.turnssoft.com/conditions.html#continue).

Something like this:
