Forgive me if this is mentioned somewhere, but in looking at the FAQ and the forum, I couldn't find an answer one way or the other to the following question: Is mouse scroll wheel recording possible?
I have tried making sure the "Mouse" checkbox is enabled, but when I use scrolling, on both a touchpad and with an actual mouse, nothing is recorded. I didn't see anything in the settings to suggest a cause. Is mouse scrolling just not supported?
Having just started to try out mini mouse macro, I've been very impressed by it's support for editing macros, for conditions (which I have not yet used but plan to), and it's overall ease of use, but not having ouse scroll is challenging to work around I'm hoping it's something I'm doing wrong, but, in any case, it's a quite nice bit of software, and either way I hope soon to send a donation your way.

Hi,
Thank you for your post. Unfortunately mouse wheel scroll recording has not been added in but it should be. I'm part way through a big update for MMM, adding in a few other new features, and will definitely look to adding mouse scroll recording options into the update.
Thank you again for the suggestion.
Regards, Steve.
EDIT - With version 6.7 mouse scroll playback is supported. At this stage recording mouse wheel scroll is still not supported.

It appears that the scroll triggers 3 pixels each time. Is there a way to either trigger a specific number of pixels on the scroll (say 100), or have it execute the scroll #number of times (say 33), rather than have to insert the line 33 times individually (and then have the scroll up the same number of times) to get back to the top?

Short answer is no. Something like this:
Mouse Wheel Scroll Up x20 would be good. I'll look into adding something like this to the next update (hopefully dropping soon).
As an alternate a quick for loop could do the trick. A little messy but it would work:
2 | FOR | I | = | 1 TO 20 | NEXT 3 | X | X | 10 | Mouse Wheel Scroll Up 4 | FOR | NEXT

Did mouse wheel recording ever get added? Have latest version and nothing appears in the macro list when scrolling the wheel.

Hi Dave Mouse wheel playback is supported but recording mouse wheel scrolling is not.
Mouse wheel events need to be added manually.

Hi,
Is there a possibility to support CTRL+ Mouse wheel,
3 | X | X | 10 | CTRL+ Mouse Wheel Scroll Up
to be able to zoom in and out inside a browser?
Thanks

It can be done with the current version (7.3) but the syntax is a little different. This is what it would look like: 1 | 200 | 200 | 1000 | Left Click 2 | X | X | 150 | Keypress Ctrl+ | | Key Down 3 | X | X | 200 | Mouse Wheel Scroll Up | loop 3::100 4 | X | X | 150 | Keypress Ctrl+ | | Key Release Line 1 - Selects the browser window at mouse X 200 and mouse Y 200 with a Left Click Line 2 - Holds the ctrl key down Line 3 - Does 3 Mouse Wheel Scroll Up events with 100ms wait between each event Line 4 - Releases the ctrl key with a Key Release event
