Hello,
I am brand-new to this forum and to Mini Mouse Macro. So new, in fact, that I have not even
downloaded, installed and tried it because I need to know the answer to the following scenario
before I jump in and go through a learning curve only to discover that I've wasted my time.
How does one record a pause into a macro?
A macro --as I understand them-- may be simply the recording of a series of keystrokes
and/or mouseclicks/movements to be played back verbatim later.
This would be the recording of 100% non-variable data.
On the other hand there could well be --and is-- the need to record a combination of non-variable
data plus the need to manually enter variable data at some point during the playback of the macro
and once done entering this variable data, to continue the playback of the macro either to the next
point where variable data is needed, or, to the completion of the macro.
Also, if a pause can be recorded into the macro, how to continue the playback after entering the
variable data? A key-combo? Mouseclick?
(I hope I have explained myself thoroughly and understandably as I am not a programmer )
I am a physician and the data-entry process during claims-entry/creation requires the entry of both
repetitive (montonous, tedious, error-prone and time-consuming) non-variable data as well as variable
data for each claim created for a particular patient.
The advantage of having the ability to pause a macro would be to greatly facilitate claims entry, reduce
or eliminate data-entry errors and basically to make the entire claims-entry process less prone to error
--due to user-fatigue from monotony-- and faster.
Looking forward to any suggestions!
Thank you!
