Hi Steve,
Finally got around to play with the Quick Launch function and it is cool! Right now, any macro can be bound to a key on the keyboard, which is good. However, these key bindings can be easily forgotten. It would be nice if MMM can display a always-on-top little floating strip window to show the key binding, when the Quick Launcher is activated but minimized. e.g.
F7:Get Data alt-F8:Compute crtl-F9:Display Results In this example, "Get Data" is just the "Macro Name" on the launch list.
I think this alone would make the Quick Launch feature more handy.
To go a step further, the above "floating strip" can be made active buttons! This way, there is no mandatory requirement to bind any keyboard key to the macro. Just click on the corresponding soft button on the "floating strip" to launch the macro.
Thanks, John
